How to book a cleaner in Denmark

Cleaning is rengøring. Home cleaning is hjemmerengøring. A move-out clean is flytterengøring. The English cleaner lists use the Danish rengøring pages, so the firms and the phone numbers match. The first reply is usually in Danish.

Ask whether the price is a one-off or a subscription, and who holds the key. Write that down. For a move-out, ask whether there is an afleveringsgaranti: they come back if the landlord or the association rejects the clean.

Servicefradrag follows labour, not the bottle of soap. Ask the invoice to show arbejdsløn on its own. The 2026 ceiling recorded here on 18 September 2026 is explained on the deduction page. Confirm it on skat.dk in the year you pay.

A message you can send

Hej. Jeg bor på [adresse]. Jeg ønsker [fast rengøring / engang / flytterengøring] fra [dato]. Skriv venligst timepris, om I skal bruge en nøgle, og om fakturaen viser arbejdsløn for sig. Venlig hilsen [navn] [telefon]

That says which kind of clean you want, asks about the key, and asks for labour on its own invoice line.

If you rent, a move-out clean is often your cost when you leave, even though day-to-day repairs of the building are not. The split is on the rental page.
