Quotes
What to put in a written quote in Denmark
A tilbud is a quote. Ask for it in writing (skriftligt) before you choose. An hourly rate on the phone is not the same document as a quote for this address.
Lines worth having
- The address and a description of the work in one or two sentences.
- Arbejdsløn (labour) separate from materialer (materials).
- Whether the price is inkl. moms (VAT included). VAT is 25%.
- Scaffolding, haulage, and the drive, each as included or extra.
- Who holds the electrical or plumbing authorisation, if the job touches fixed installations.
- A start date and what happens if they find rot, asbestos or a further leak.
Send the same description to each firm. If one quote includes demolition and the next does not, the totals are not comparable. Nærfag does not collect the quotes and does not take a fee. You write to the firm yourself.
A sentence you can add
That single line asks them to split labour, materials, the drive and VAT.
Price ranges in the Danish price guide are catalogue ranges, not a promise for your job. This English entrance does not repeat those ranges as official figures. Tax ceilings that do have a public source are on the deduction page.
